@omgpurplefattie suggested: How about NMJ hauling both Nice Huaisang and Meng Yao around over his shoulders?

Huaisang was supposed to be tucked into Mingjue's side but it messed up the composition. I imagine that would upset him, so I left him out. Also tried to go for a more sketchy style, not obsessing about details too much. I think it turned out quite nice!

Anyways -as I was drawing I imagined some unrestrained summer fun for these two in Yunmeng's lakes. I am not saying it would fix them but I am sure it wouldn't make anything worse at least!

Edit: hitman was a joke option…. I see that I wasn’t clearly enough on that one. I didn’t think it would be taken seriously like how I don’t think that the nepo baby options for instance will be either. As for sex worker, I won’t pretend it was the best choice I’ve ever made but for everyone saying I’ve ONLY put sex work for JGY, I haven’t. LWJ also has a form of sex work on his (professional dom), and I forget which juniors now since I made the polls a few days ago but two have rent a boyfriend which may be considered sex work depending on how you interpret that. I meant ideal here as in ideal to read about / have a story around — sex worker was included bc I have seen a number of fics and headcanons with him having a job under that umbrella. I 100% did forget about event planning. Sorry.

Completely random and baseless headcanon of the day:

Wang Lingjiao thinks that Meng Yao is a gold digger who instead of going for the Xiandu's son, went straight for the Xiandu himself AND actually succeeded. But it's no surprise since he evidently had succeeded in bagging Chifeng-Zun, too. (CHIFENG-ZUN! WHO WAS MARRIED TO HIS SABER! WHO WOULD HAVE THOUGHT!). So she has a lot of respect for this professional and successful Qianbei.

Meng Yao doesn't like people who abuse every ounce of power they can grasp to oppress those weaker, and also is not very sure why Wang Lingjiao is suddenly such a big fan of him and keeps following him around, but if she voluntarily wants to be his source of information (as in eagerly gossiping with him every time she sees him 'cause she really wants to get close to him and learn from him. And the gossip she has are not few) then he won't object.
